The Women’s, Gender, and Sexualities Studies FIG met on Thursday 10/8/15 at 12:40 in M357.  Approximately 10 people attended.  We began to discuss Rebecca Solnit’s book Men Explain Things to Me, relating the ideas in the books to events that have happened to us, in and out of the classroom.  We discussed gender, power, and being seen as an authority.
